about

Cyclone Hoedown was one of Liesl Gaesser's first lyrical compositions. This piece was inspired by Grace Slick's "White Rabbit." However, instead of describing an acid trip, it fancifully depicts the process of washing triple loaders of laundry while on a manic high. Cyclone Hoedown has been called witty, with vivid imagery and plenty of double entendres. Have a listen and hear for yourself the catchy nuances of this delightful song.

lyrics

-Lyrics-
Psychedelic colors loaded in a tub of steel. Put another quarter in the slot and watch it blow your mind. Dark colors or brights? Which one is right? the right cycle to choose or will I loose and my baggage turn into grayness.
Pour in the beautifully fragrent liquid in the dark blue lagoon. Watch as the colors mezmorize your mind. Blue violet, indego, red, forest green and purple, see them foam and slosh in the swirlling river’s torrent. Next add the softest fragrent kiss that smoothly hugs each thread. Watch as the colors whirl in a circular blurr. Hypnotizing me and intoxocating me as they spin out for the last time.
-Solo-
Now labor’s given grately as each thread is taken out and transporte to its destination the heated cyclone spout. and the place became a rocking this heated cyclone fair as the Hoedown took place with each sock up in the air.
And the socks were dancing with the pants and the pants bowed to the skirt who blushed just a little for she really was a flirt. and the Boxers were dancing with the nightgown and the nightgowns with the shirts, this party was a flying for now there was no dirt.
Now when the dance was all over all there was left to do was to hang each fluffy clothing and fold a misguided sock or two. Now with all the dirt gone and everything so clean, we end this of love as if it were a dream!
